Well we made it off the Dalton safe and sound at 12:43.  As you can see by the pics we are a muddy mess.  Need to find a car wash, groceries, do a few loads of laundry, clean up inside the Alaskan at a cabin we rented to get things cleaned up which includes ourselves!

This was our 6th time on the Dalton and I would have to say the road was the worse we have ever seen it. Crazy amount of potholes, craters, craters hiding in the mud, lots of mud and one lane traffic  on the roads all through very muddy messes. One thing I did notice is that there seemed to be a lot less rocks in the road to dodge. I do believe we had our lowest temp ever at 10 degrees. Tomorrow we head for the Dempster, of course we have to get out of Alaska and hope Canada will let us back in.
