Stopping early last night and the latest start yet on the trip 9:22 am is all on me. Just having some focusing issues and I need to be focused on a trip like this. Motivation is a bit low also. For my family reading this you know why and know that I am thinking of all of you all the time. The trees were beautiful today, yellow mostly and some orange here and there. More Tundra Swans but again to far away.

Construction stunk today that is for sure, miles of it at four different places.  If it were not for that we would have been on the Dempster today. Instead we are at Klondike River campground.  Have stayed here before right by the small airport but it isn't that bad. Right now us and one other person is here, few others have gone by but didn't stay.  Might have something to do with two barking Sammies, LOL!

Sitting by another campfire tonight so relaxing while I type this up.  Life is good! So tomorrow starts the Dempster highway you may not hear from us for a day or two but usually we get some phone\internet access going through Eagle Plains, Inuvik and Tuk if we make it all the way up there and to the Arctic Ocean. Weather says we may get a little bit of snow on the way up. Eagle Plains and Inuvik is also our gas stops. Not many pictures today sorry just wasn't in the mood to stop and take photos.
